COVID - 19 UPDATE
Due to the situation with COVID-19, the ACT Committee has had to make the tough call to cancel the 2020 Regional Event, However we have replaced it with the "Remote RoboCup ACT Regionals". The Remote RoboCup ACT Regionals (Triple R) is an online based event to keep challenging you and to help prepare all teams in the 2021 events. Stay tuned to the website and our Facebook page for more info on these challenges. We are bringing our compition back, bigger and better than ever.

Registrations close 30/10/2020
Onstage - Students send in a video of their performance. You will be sent a set of questions that they have to answer in a video presentation, explaining your robots and journal of their work.
Rescue Line - Teams will video their runs. RoboCupJunior ACT can supply rescue tiles if needed.
Rescue Maze – teams set up their own mazes and video the robot going through the challenge and submit videos. They can make the mazes out of local material. Teams will submit videos of the runs through the maze
Soccer – Students will have a "standard" opposition for teams to verse against your Robots! Instructions will sent out on how to build and a program two simple soccer robots.

Where to start
Well if you are reading this, you are at the right place. This site has information to get you started. You will find inform ation on how to compete in all the events in RoboCup Junior in event webpages. In the Resource Centre you find tips for your robots and constructing equipment. If you would like some 'hands on' help, volunteers will come out to your school and give you a hand. There are also opportunities to attend workshops. These are run on a demand basis so if you are interested please contact us.
The ACT competition is coordinated by a dedicated but small team of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer or would like to enter this years competition and don’t know where to start we would appreciate hearing from you. We aim to make this competition as much fun as possible for all children and we are grateful for the support of interested parents and teachers.
