SATURDAY NIGHT FUNCTION 

RoboCup Junior ACT will be hosting a function for all Team members and Mentors on the middle evening (22th Sept.) of the RoboCup Junior Australian Open in Canberra this year. 

The function will be held from 7-10pm @ Questcon http://www.questacon.edu.au/#canberra

Chartered buses will be available from the University to take participants to the function and back. The bus will leave the ANU at 6:30pm and get back to the ANU  at 9:45pm

A simple meal will be provided to each person attending the function.

The motivation for the function is to engender a fun, social atmosphere and experience and act as a counter to the seriousness of competition.  Competitors and mentors will be able to mingle and network.  All involved will enjoy a well earned break from the responsibilities of the trip. The function is also inspired by the highly successful functions held each year at the International RCJ and last year in Tasmainia.  
 
The RoboCup Junior Australia committee meeting and AGM will be held at the ANU Gym 'Dance area' , starting at 5.00pm.

There will be a specific “Function Information” desk set up at the Main Registration on Saturday (22^th) morning to deal with concerns or enquiries about the function.
