This is a one day workshop aimed at teachers and students who can bring a standard build EV3 robot (instructions sent out prior to workshop date). The day will cover the rules (and changes since 2017), how to build an Australian Curriculum classroom unit based on this challenge, and will cover the skills and procedures related to programming a robot to compete in this challenge.
Introduction to Standard League Soccer - April
Learn to play 2 vs 2 soccer games with robots. Robots will be provided for this workshop. This one day workshop for teachers and students will cover the rules of the competition, the basic engineering skills required to build strong, stable and robust robots that can play soccer as either a StrikerBot or a GoalieBot. The day will finish with robot soccer games between the various groups who attend. Teachers will be provided with a workbook covering the Australian Curriculum links and a scope and sequence plan for teaching robot soccer as a classroom unit.
